Life is a Fairytale

16 Feb

We were just on our way back from the Tot Spot and C was in the backseat of the car reading a copy of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast when suddenly she says, “Mom I wish you could turn into a clock.” This is the conversation that followed.

Me: A clock? Why a clock?

C: Because you love daddy. (Ummmm okayand?)

C: And I wish I could turn into a princess and I wish Daddy could turn into a king. And I wish Peter had a moustache.

This is about the time I start laughing hysterically (picturing my 14 week old with a moustache) while trying to concentrate on driving. Then she continues:

C: I wish I could turn into Cinderella and I wish Peter was a pumpkin.

Me: Why do you wish Peter was a pumpkin?

C: So I could go to the ball. And I wish A could turn into The Beast.

Me: You want A to turn into The Beast??

C: Actually I don’t want A to turn into The Beast. Actually I want A to turn into a horse. And I wish L (her grandmother) had grey hair. Or white…
